Using ONE tray for every style of lashing?! That's our philosophy here at Light Heart.
Less inventory and countless looks.
In the past, lash artists learned classic lashes, volume lashes and mega volume lashes. These styles all utilized different diameters. This is the traditional way of lashing. At Light Heart, we teach you a different way of lashing. We believe this is the new era of lash artistry. A way that simplifies your inventory, your menu, your mind and can give your clients exactly the look they are wanting every single time. Hence why our lash trays are named... “The Everything Lash.” We use them in a few different ways to create any and every look.
For natural looks we can create Angel Sets. Closed fans using groups of x5 0.03 lashes.
What are angel sets? You've seen them all over the internet and clients and artists alike are obsessed with them. It's a look I've been doing for years and I am so excited to share them with the world so lash artists can create a style that is timeless and EASY to create. They can completely replace classics and hybrids from your service menu. I came up with angel sets in 2022 entirely on accident. I had a client who was sixteen years old, she wanted a set that was even lighter feeling than a classic set. I pulled out the lightest tray of lashes I had, and created a set using closed fans that looked like classics, but they would feel absolutely weightless on her. My client noticed that I had a habit of calling people angels, which I do. I began calling that look and technique, “angel lashes” and without expecting it, the name caught on. After a few months of going viral on all platforms, it had become a global trend that turned into a permanent service on people’s lash menus. Clients are asking for these all over the WORLD because these lash looks are so flattering to all eye shapes, ages and the comfort that these lashes provide is truly unmatched.
For a dimensional, everyday look, we can create Wispy Sets.
The top layer is filled with longer, more structured closed fans. You can do this layer first before the bottom layers. Use a more intense curl like CC, D or M and keep the bottom layer softer with a C or a J curl.
The bottom layer is significantly shorter than the top layer of lashes. Keep the bottom and middle layer 2-5mm shorter than the top. Use light 3-7D fans. These are there to create darkness and depth. We typically use C curl for these layers.
You can do wispy sets in ANY map.
For clients wanting a full, dense, dramatic look, we can create Mega Volume Sets!
WHAT IS MEGA VOLUME? With our 0.03 diameter lashes we can create 10-20D fans. We can customize each fan and add more volume without adding more WEIGHT. Use the Quick Fans technique and make speedy beautiful fans.
